There's nothing stopping Denise Drysdale. As a performer loved by many, she is just as active now as she was earlier in her career. Her first television performance was back in 1959 as a ballet dancer on the GTV9 Tarax Show.
I’ve done 75 shows so far this year. At 66, I think that’s quite an achievement!
At age seventeen, Drysdale joined the new show Kommotion as a go-go girl becoming Melbourne's first go-go dancer. Denise's popularity led to an invitation to perform for the troops in Vietnam for three weeks in late 1967 and later for the American troops in the Middle East. The next major role was with the Ernie Sigley Show where she won the TV Week Gold Logie for the Most Popular Female Personality on Australian TV.
On stage, she has appeared in many plays and musicals including: Salad Days (musical) Grease, The Barry Crocker Show, Two Gentlemen of Verona and Hello, Dolly! in 1994. She also spent several years in Sydney appearing in television shows Weekend Magazine and Beauty and the Beast, both popular day time viewing.
In 2008, Drysdale released her What A Wonderful World album. The album contains a remake of the single Hey Paula with the new version featuring Mark Trevorrow (the original was sung with Ernie Sigley.
Denise was selected as one of the 50 most significant people on TV in the last 50 years by Channel 9. Recently Denise was a contestant in the Australian Reality TV series of Celebrity Splash as Denise tried to master the art of Diving for the first time (in her sixties!).
The Celebrity Splash program premiered on Seven Network. The celebrities performed each week in front of a panel of judges and a live audience in an Olympic-size diving pool. Denise was the public’s favourite - they admiring her for taking up such a big challenge in her sixties and conquering her fears.
Denise Drysdale has joined the Studio 10 team as a regular in 2016, so one of Australia’s favourites will be seen again on breakfast TV on a regular basis. No slowing down Ding Dong!

"MLS Management (Mary-Louise) organised Jamie Dunn to MC and provide entertainment at our Dairy Industry Conference on the Sunshine Coast. Over the many years of organising annual conferences, we were extremely impressed with the professional, friendly approach to all aspects of organising the evening entertainment, which went off without a hitch. We would not hesitate to contact MLS again for future events."
"Happy to report that working with the MLS Management has always been a pleasure. As a Master of Ceremonies it is vital that the event team is professional and are able to communicate clearly the client’s needs and objectives and this I’m happy to say has been my experience of MLS Management. A successful event or promotion works when all the “small “ things are taken care of, the things that others might miss but are vital to the outcome and when my services are required I’m proud to be part of the MLS Management team because ,like the client … I’m in safe hands!"
